Summary: This position will be based out of the Anchorage or Palmer, AK offices and will primarily be a ‘Field Assignment Position’ within the state of Alaska. It will report to the corresponding Program Manager or site-specific designee. The Cement/Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete on a variety of construction projects. This includes preparing surfaces, applying finishing techniques, setting forms, and ensuring completed concrete work meets quality standards. This position requires 75% travel; hours worked while in travel status could be up to 12 hours per day. The pay rate for this position is $30/hour Admin Rate. Please note this is a full-time seasonal position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : (including but not limited to) - Place, level, and finish concrete for slabs, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, and other structures. - Use hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers. - Set, align, and remove forms as needed. - Apply curing compounds and ensure proper curing processes. - Repair existing concrete by patching, resurfacing, or grinding. - Ensure surface textures, slopes, and finishes meet project...
