The HVAC Mechanic 3 is licensed and performs HVAC and building systems maintenance, repair work, and responds to the corrective needs of HVAC equipment, and system components. Work location is Marine Campus: CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintains up-to-date records on work performed and pending, and reports information routinely to appropriate managing staff. 2. Participates in applicable HVAC or safety training opportunities. 3. Reads prints, sketches, and diagrams to perform job functions. 4. Makes estimates and reports costs to management. 5. Maintains orderly work area and safeguards tools, equipment, and parts. 6. Trains staff on how to maintain and service equipment and related components. 7. Performs preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. 8. Assists in maintaining repair parts inventory. 9.
