They will provide assistance to the Department of Anaesthesia with set up and monitoring of anaesthesia in the following areas: a busy Operating Room with 19,000 ambulatory and inpatient procedures annually including, oncology, acute care surgery, ophthalmology and pediatric services, and an obstetrical department with 5000 deliveries per year. The Department of Anesthesia includes expertise in regional anaesthesia with the current development of a regional block room facility.
