What Your Day Will Look Like: Make an impact close to home. Join Consor’s Draper team to design local and UDOT roadway improvements from safety upgrades and urban corridors to interchange and widening projects. Bring a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow into task lead and project leadership, while mentoring junior staff and delivering high‑quality plans. What You'll Do: - Lead/perform roadway design and prepare full PS&E packages: plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimates (PSE) for bid. - Develop typical sections, horizontal/vertical alignments, profiles, cross‑sections, and traffic control/phasing details. - Apply AASHTO/UDOT standards; ensure compliance with local/state/federal requirements. - Conduct/oversee drainage and stormwater design components within roadway projects (coordination with H&H as needed). - Own scope/schedule/budget, and perform QA/QC reviews of design calculations and plan sheets. - Mentor junior engineers (task assignment, checks, coaching) and collaborate across disciplines (structures, traffic, environmental).
