Your role: - Manage and maintain the PTW system for all track and system‑related construction activities. - Review and obtain approval on permit applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project and regulatory safety requirements. - Verify that high‑risk activities (electrical, confined space, hot work, energized systems, lifting, track access, etc.) have valid permits before work starts. - Coordinate permit scheduling with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. - Maintain an updated log of all active, suspended, and closed permits. - Ensure PTW processes comply with WorkSafeBC, Transport Canada, and project‑specific safety standards. - Confirm supporting documents (JHA/JSA, SWP, isolation plans, LOTO procedures) are attached to each permit. - Validate that isolation and lockout procedures are implemented before issuing permits for energized work. - Monitor work sites to ensure compliance with permit conditions and safe work practices. - Suspend or revoke permits when unsafe conditions...
