Job Overview Primary responsibility of the Warehouse Trainer is to coach, train, and provide support to operations. Core responsibilities will be centered on developing all employees’ skills in equipment operation, distribution center activities (such as picking and put away) and supporting DC Management in administering the training program. This position requires a strong aptitude for instruction and coaching of new employees and retraining of current employees, while leveraging exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be self-managed and well-organized with a desire to develop people. A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Train / cross-train, coach, and provide recognition for warehouse employees to achieve continuous improvement - Instruct employees through video and classroom presentation the safe operation of powered industrial equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, turret trucks, etc.) - Test employees’ proficiency via written and practical tests - Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines - Effectively communicate with the trainees and be able to adapt to a differentiated learning style, if needed - Res...
