Brewery Assistant

Job description

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for producing wort and maintaining brewing equipment and facility. Requirements: - Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, milling, mashing, and lautering, wort boiling, cooling and transferring to Storage vessels. - Repair brewery equipment with assistance from other Brewhouse employees. - Completion of daily cleaning and maintenance checklists - Aid with yeast propagation following Company's process. - Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house. - Work with Lab Technician to ensure our product meets our standards of the highest quality. - Maintaining the use of standard operating procedures unless otherwise instructed. - Communicate regularly and efficiently with Granite City staff. - Maintain inventory as needed. Report any low levels of inventory to your supervisor when necessary. - Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude. - Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time. - Perform others duties as assigned. - Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple projects with excel...
