BI Expert

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a BI Expert, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert based in Belgium. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Tasks: - Design and implement ETL processes; - Design and develop reports and dashboards; - Provide advice on DB design and performance; - Design and implement data governance procedures (incl. access, data quality, …); - Create data architecture models: optimise data flows and integrate solutions; - Create and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses); - Conduct research to improve solutions and provide advice about new approaches and technologies (Data Virtualization, Data Mining, Linked Data, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data); - Gather business requirements related to reports and dashboards; - Write technical documentation; - Perform data quality tests.
