Job Description The NYC Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) seeks to hire seeks a Fiscal Analyst to work within the Fiscal Services department. Under the guidance of the Deputy Director of Fiscal Services, the selected candidate will work under tight deadlines to manage the agencies’ Expense, Capital and Revenue budgets and process and track invoices on a daily basis. The Fiscal Analyst will help the Fiscal Services department execute its goal of financial responsibility and stability. The candidate will assist in the strategic planning of the agencies’ financial plan and other Office of Management and Budget (OMB) submissions. The Fiscal Analyst must be detail oriented, highly analytical, an independent thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, and have knowledge of the City of New York’s Financial Management System (FMS), Excel, Word, or comparable software. The selected candidate will: - Assist the Fiscal Services Director and Deputy Director in the preparation of FISA-OPA’s PS and OTPS Budget submissions through all phases of the Budget cycle.
