Job description

Per Diem Evenings Position Summary: Performs routine technical and clerical functions. Performs venipuncture, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens; may perform CLIA waived laboratory tests. Performs and fulfills all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency disaster. containers, collects specimens and performs simple tests under supervision. EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent - Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens, labels tubes and specimen - Performs phlebotomist duties as assigned EXPERIENCE: Required: Ability to complete blood draws independently within 6 weeks of hire. Preferred: 6 months of laboratory experience.
