POSITION SUMMARY: The Entry - Welder operates various welding equipment to fabricate, build or modify product, equipment, accessory equipment and components. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs the numerous steps when welding various materials together. - Lays out, fits together and welds mostly pre-cut parts together - Operates assigned equipment safely in accordance with company and OSHA safety programs and rules. - Performs work in accordance to approved procedures and work instructions. - Monitors Quality Points work station and records required data. - Reports quality and production concerns and issues to supervisor. - Cross trains on all work stations within department. - Conducts operator level preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule. - Additional duties as assigned ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: - Highschool equivalent from two-year college or technical school - 0-2 years of previous welding experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. - Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Su...
