Plant Process Operator - Blending Plant - 2nd Shift

Job Summary The Process Operator/Laborer is responsible for operating the plant equipment to produce finished product. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Oversees processing of raw material to finished product; monitors materials to maintain maximum rate of processing per hour. - Maintains consistent flow of material from initial receipt to shipment. - Monitors control panel and various gauges to ensure process maximum efficiencies. - May perform some preventative maintenance duties (i.e. lubricating machinery and checking lubricant levels as required) - Informs Shift Lead Person and/or Plant Management of any problems. - May be responsible for plant start-up or shut-down. - Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. - Aware of, has received training and is responsible for maintaining Darling's Food Safety program. - All other duties as assigned.
