2026 SUMMER CAMP SEASON RUNS JUNE 8, 2026 - JULY 31, 2026: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. SCOPE OF POSITION: Organize and administer safe and meaningful programs in arts and crafts using activities that are in harmony with the goals and objectives of Camp Gifford. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - High School Graduate, some college preferred but not mandatory - Must be craft oriented and able to teach and work with children to help bring their creative abilities to their attention - Experience working with children required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Possess good leadership skills - Possess good verbal and written communication skills - Be able to pass a child safety background check - Be detail oriented and well organized - Must be knowledgeable in the areas of children/personnel safety, planning, problem solving, and crisis intervention ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan, org...
