Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): TEMPORARY HOURLY: WORKING TITLE: Teacher Parent Consultant: SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Project Enlightenment: LOCATION: 501 S. Boylan Ave, Raleigh, NC PAY GRADE: $40.37 per hour FLSA STATUS: Exempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: No: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is not available for a hybrid telework workweek POSITION PURPOSE: Provides consultation, resources, and support to teachers, caregivers, providers, and parents for preschool and public school kindergarten aged children referred due to concerns about their emotional, social, and/or learning development in support of implementing appropriate strategies in the child’s natural environment. Designs and delivers professional development, parent education, and other training programs for teachers, providers, parents, and other professionals serving preschool and kindergarten students in Wake County.
