To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position, please review this tip sheet . The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is currently seeking a full time Ophthalmic Imager 2 to work in Miami. The Ophthalmic Imager 2 (OI2) is competent in the theory, principles, and practice of eye care. The position documents in the EMR system and performs ocular diagnostic testing using specialized instrumentation in compliance with department standards Performs diagnostic testing including but not limited to the below. - Color fundus photography - Fluorescein angiography - ICG (Indocyanine Green) angiography - Optical coherence tomography - Automated perimetry - Slit lamp photography - External photography - Ocular motility photography CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs supervised ocular diagnostic testing using specialty-specific imaging instruments, documents procedures, and uploads images into the electronic medical record/PACS platform.
