The person in this role manages the functions of the social work department which includes hiring and orientating new staff, performance evaluations, establishing and updating caseloads and reviewing Social Workers’, Community Resource Specialists’, and Behavioral Health Specialist’s documentation. The review of documentation entails verifying documentation is compliant with regulatory standards and ensuring proper standards of Social Work practice are being implemented.
