Department: 36303 Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital - Radiology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: $5,000 Sign on Bonus 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Every other weekend: Must be willing to work offsite location (Crystal Lake) as well as hospital Rotating call and Holiday: Pay Range: $30.70 - $46.05 Major Responsibilities: - Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by a physician - Accountable for the performance and documentation of all diagnostic procedures utilizing proper technical parameters to produce quality studies. - Knowledgeable in the safe use, maneuverability and operation of all general radiography, portable, fluoro, C-arm and O-arm equipment - Proficient in the performance of general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, GI, Pain, Urology, C-arm and O-arm procedures - Adheres to infection prevention, isolation and sterile techniques as it applies in patient handling and delivery of care - Adheres to ALARA principles in performance of exams to reduce exposure to self, the patient and others - Utilizes proper patient identification to ensure the correct exam is p...
