Job description

Up to $15,000 Bonus Based on Eligibility Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. - Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. - Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. - Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. - Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. - Develops knowledge and skill sets required for extensive computer reconstruction, to include additional types of software (such as a Vitria workstation or similar), which performs advanced cardiac modeling. Maintains required knowledge and skill sets to perform advanced technical imaging, required by CT scanners of 64 slices and above. Develops advanced knowledge of 3-dimensional anatomy, in particular vascular and cardiovascular anatomy. - Collects pertinent patient history and documents on requisition.
