About the role We are seeking a Senior Manager, Testing to establish, lead, and mature a centralised technology testing and quality assurance function across Retirement Solutions. This is a senior leadership role accountable for embedding robust testing practices, quality governance, and independent assurance across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). The role ensures that technology change is rigorously tested, risk‑aligned, stable, and compliant — supporting reliable technology outcomes, critical operations, and regulatory obligations. You will set the strategic direction for enterprise testing, uplift testing maturity and automation capability, and provide independent assurance of technology readiness across transformation and BAU initiatives. Partnering closely with Engineering, Platform Owners, Architecture, Cyber Security, Delivery, and the Business, you will play a critical role in enabling safe, predictable, and high‑quality technology releases.
