ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to support the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance operations at Bell Bay. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities while actively participating in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance across plant, mobile equipment, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, coordinate, and support a small maintenance team in daily activities - Allocate and prioritise preventative and reactive maintenance tasks - Perform hands‑on maintenance, fault‑finding, and repairs on plant, mobile equipment, and infrastructure - Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtime - Provide technical support, mentoring, and on‑the‑job coaching to team members - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WHS, HSE, and permit requirements - Conduct toolbox talks and participate in safety meetings - Ensure isolation, risk assessments, and controls are in place prior to work commencing - Coordinate and supervise contractors performing maintenance work - Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation - Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas a...
