VP Area: Business School Department: Business School: FLSA Status: Exempt: Benefit Eligibility: No: Position Summary: The Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University is seeking part-time Adjunct Instructors in Accounting to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses on an as-needed basis. This is a temporary, part-time position. Courses may be delivered in-person or online depending on departmental needs. Qualifications: - Provide high-quality instruction in accounting, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences for students. - Develop and deliver course materials that align with the university’s curriculum and learning objectives. - Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback. - Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit grades in accordance with university policies. - Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student success. - Adhere to academic integrity and ethical teaching practices, following university and department policies. - A master’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field is required.
