Shape the future of grassroots sports through the power of data Spond is a product-driven consumer tech company that simplifies life for sports teams, clubs, and volunteers. Every month, over 4 million active users around the world rely on our platform to communicate, coordinate events, and manage payments within their teams and clubs. In Norway, more than one in five people use Spond, and we aim to replicate this success globally. That scale generates a lot of data and raises important questions: how do teams and clubs form and grow, how do people engage with events and payments, what keeps them active, and what drives them away? We have a data team, a warehouse (Databricks), pipelines, and a BI tool (Omni) in place. But we’re still early in turning that data into something the whole organization uses consistently and confidently. We’re looking for a Head of Data who wants to build. You’ll lead and scale a small team (one data engineer and two analysts) and have real influence over the infrastructure, tooling, and ways of working that will define how Spond uses data both internally and with partners for years to come.
