Travel and Transport Officer | 10310 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2028 | 37 hours per week | £32,061 to £33,699 per annum (Scale G) | County Hall, Norwich We are looking for a dynamic individual, with an interest in transport networks and working with transport operators, to join our busy passenger transport team that delivers passenger transport services across Norfolk. The role will be varied but will focus on organising school transport for children and young people in the east of the county and managing contracts for both home-to-school and local bus transport services. You will need to be hardworking and able to work on your initiative, with an ability to challenge the status quo to deliver improvements to services whilst also keeping costs down. You will also need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, so that you can liaise effectively with a range of people including parents, schools, transport operators, transport staff and internal colleagues. There is a requirement for work out of the office on a regular basis, to monitor contracts and services and to understand the transport network.
