Senior Software Engineer- Public Cloud Network Location: New York: Business Area: Engineering and CTO: Ref #: 10049499 Description & Requirements: Our Team: Bloomberg’s Network Production Engineering – Public Cloud (NPE-PC) team builds and evolves the hybrid cloud networking platform that enables Bloomberg applications to run reliably, securely, and at scale across multiple public cloud providers. We sit at the intersection of network engineering, cloud infrastructure, and platform automation, ensuring that Bloomberg’s growing cloud presence integrates seamlessly with our global private network. We partner closely with SREs, application teams, security engineering, and our on-prem networking organization. Our work spans the full lifecycle of public cloud networking: architecture, provisioning, deployment pipelines, observability, production readiness, incident response, and continuous improvement. We leverage infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native networking constructs, and automation frameworks to deliver repeatable, reliable networking services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
