Terms and Conditions apply. **New grads welcome to apply** The practice of computed tomography is performed by healthcare professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. A computed tomography technologist performs computed tomography procedures that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner Core Competencies: Perform all the duties of a CT Technologist I. Capable of safely administering contrast or other imaging agents including the identification of incompatibilities and/or interactions. Expected to assess a patient’s risk for allergic reaction to contrast media and other related medications prior to administration and following appropriate protocols for escalation of concerns. Expected to evaluate lab values prior to administering contrast media or other related medications and beginning the ordered examination.
