New England Neurological Associates (NENA) has joined Lowell General Hospital and Tufts Medicine, and is seeking a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our team. Position Highlights: - Work within a very collaborative and personable team of five PAs and four neurosurgeons. This is a great opportunity to become well-trained in high acuity cranial and spine cases. - We offer a thorough training process alongside PAs and surgeons. Experienced PAs preferred. Many of our current PAs started as new grads and have stayed many years! - Responsibilities including first assist in cranial and spine cases, hospital/ED consults, ICU and floor rounds, and outpatient clinic. - The typical schedule includes 1-2 days in clinic, 3-4 days in the hospital. - PA first call is currently 1:5 weekends (anticipated to be 1:6 with the new APC), 2 weeknight overnight calls per month.
