Seasonal Field Technician

Job description

Description: - Assists with movement, layout, and transplant of plant material into outdoor tubs and beds - Participates in watering schedule for outdoor areas including hand watering and running irrigation timers - Assists with general cleanup and weeding of outdoor areas - Assists with general maintenance of irrigation equipment - Assists with various greenhouse tasks as needed Requirements: - Basic working knowledge of a greenhouse facility or landscape operation preferred - Must have basic computer knowledge - Must enjoy getting their hands dirty and working outdoors - Must be able to work with a team as well as stay focused when performing solo tasks - Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills preferred - Must be 18 years of age or older Pay Range: $15.50-$16.00/Hour: Physical Requirements: Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm CST - Ability to sit/stand/bend for extended periods of time - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to work in hot and cold environments depending on the time of year and whether tasks are being performed inside a greenhouse or out in the field
