Description Giffels Webster has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Detroit Headquarters, working on several high-profile urban land development projects that are contributing to the revitalization of the City of Detroit. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently on various engineering projects. You will work in a team environment led by the Partner in charge/Project Manager on a variety of tasks. Typical responsibilities include: - Geometrics - Grading - Pavement design - Soil erosion and sediment control - Utility (storm, sanitary and water) design - Stormwater management and green infrastructure design - Traffic control plans - Details - Record drawings and specifications - Prepare permit applications and cost estimates - Attend meetings - Conduct field visits - Perform construction administration tasks What we offer: In-person collaboration and mentoring are paramount to the success of this position.
