Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) functions as a member of the orthopaedic care team within the Scott Orthopedic Center, providing comprehensive patient care in both clinic and surgical settings. The APP collaborates with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care across the continuum, including evaluation and treatment of orthopaedic patients. This position supports a multi-subspecialty orthopaedic practice through a rotational model, offering broad exposure across sports medicine, joint replacement, hand, trauma, and foot and ankle while supporting patient access and operational needs. Job Responsibilities: - Obtains complete musculoskeletal-focused medical history and performs physical examinations on patients - Interprets diagnostic studies, including orthopaedic imaging (e.g., X-ray), to determine appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with physicians - Performs comprehensive physical assessments and records findings; collaborates with orthopaedic physicians in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions - Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures as indicated - Administers medications and p...
