Job Details The Supervisor Food Service performs a variety of food and nutrition duties, supervises the daily department activities and provides support and direction for staff to ensure staff accountability and patient/customer and employee safety and satisfaction. Provides support, direction, coaching and modeling through five to one feedback. Job Description: Essential Functions: - Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. - Insures adequate amounts of food supplies are ordered and available to produce planned menus. - Supervises sanitation activities to ensure a safe, clean and sanitary environment that is compliant with federal, state and local regulations. - Supervises and/or checks the Food Service Associates to ensure the assembly of timely, accurate, temperature appropriate and appealing meals for patients. - Supervises retail operations, including cleanliness, to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and to ensure customer satisfaction. - Supervises the Nutrition Care Associates and Food Service Associates to ensure patient satisfaction with the quality, accuracy and temperature of meals, with the cou...
