Job description

Waste Connections is Hiring a Automated Side Load in Miami FL! PAY: $23-$25/hr DOE, working 50-55 hours a week. A typical schedule is Monday – Friday , with occasional Saturdays as needed. The workweek is approximately 50-55 hours. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely operate a Automated Side Load garbage truck on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste. Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers. Interact courteously with customers while performing the job. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order. Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal. Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading waste from front-load containers. Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area. Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
