Summary: The Production Planning and Materials Manager leads and oversees production planning, purchasing coordination, and inventory control functions while fostering a strong safety culture. This role is accountable for achieving on‑time delivery, material cost control, and inventory performance objectives through effective demand, supply, and production planning. The position partners with Sales and Production to develop achievable plans, monitors demand and material flow to identify and resolve constraints, establishes and reports key performance metrics, and leads the team in applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive root‑cause problem solving and continuous improvement in safety, service, and operational performance. .
