Job title Groundskeeper Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent: Classification: Hourly, Part Time, Nonexempt: Working Hours: According to shift assignment: Job purpose: Responsible for performing all general hands-on grooming of the golf course and grounds. Duties and responsibilities: - Maintains a clean golf course and maintenance complex. - Rakes bunkers for any debris from previous day - Raking, shoveling and removal of grass clippings, leaves and other debris. - Removes visible weeds from areas on and around the Golf Course - Pick up any trash or debris from areas around and on the Golf Course - Completes duties as directed by supervisor in a timely manner. - Demonstrates courtesy to all Members and Guests at all times. - Obeys all safety procedures. Qualifications: At least 16 years of age and valid driver’s license. Working conditions: Work is primarily outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.
