A Wilmington landmark since 1890, our fully modernized Wilmington Hospital serves and provides ChristianaCare’s distinguished, high-quality health care in the heart of Wilmington. Our Wilmington Emergency Department houses a Level III Trauma Center. We seek an Emergency Care Technician to care for patients in our Emergency Department. Highlights: Under nursing, the Emergency Care Tech's primary function is to perform hygiene/comfort measures and selected nursing and phlebotomy procedures for patients under the supervision and direction of the professional nurse. Acquiring vital signs and performing EKG's are also required. We seek someone who can demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients.
