General Summary : Under supervision of the Center Director/Program Coordinator or Designee, to participate in the responsibility of performing lifeguarding, water rescue and safety procedures: To perform a variety of tasks in the prevention of injuries at the pool facilities. - Maintains Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid certifications. Administer First Aid and/or CPR as needed; performs water rescue functions - Observe patrons and enforce the safety rules and regulations of the pool - Customer Service/Handles Objections/Positive Public Perception - Participates in Lifeguard Training sessions - Dependability/ Attentiveness/Excellent Communication skills POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE: - Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid administering - Familiarity with and use of water safety equipment Qualifications: Required minimum qualifications: Education: Lifeguard Training Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Certification: - Lifeguard certification - Water rescue safety methods - Pool Safety operating regulations - Lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid
