The opportunity: Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver Program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes: Located at our Preston depot - one of our newer depots within Melbourne’s bus network with their zero-emissions focus. The part time opportunities available are across our PM shifts (e.g sign on between 15:00/16:00 PM and sign off around 20:00 PM) with an hourly rate of $39.06 per hour. - A friendly and supportive environment - An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training - Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence - A 12-month training program (mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus) - Industry leading pay throughout your training - You will be assigned a buddy throughout the training process to support your development We’re after people with: Please note if shortlisted you must be available to attend an assessment centre from our North Fitzroy depot. - Excellent customer service skills and who enjoy working with people - A current Australian car driver’s licence (full licence...
