Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

Job description

The Supervisor – Manufacturing Engineering is a dual-role position with both leadership & hands-on Engineering responsibilities. This role will be responsible for contributing and guiding a team of Manufacturing Engineering employees in process development, production support & continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor team members, working closely with cross-functional departments to drive improvements in processes, efficiency, quality, and safety across the facility. Responsibilities: - Provides technical direction, leadership and support for the factory in lean manufacturing, tooling, manufacturing processes, project management, and training. - Leads development and implementation of equipment, tooling, and process solutions for new or improved production operations. - Supports development of new and existing products and processes. - Guides and reviews input for fiscal planning, capital projects and cost reductions. - Reviews product design for manufacturability. - Provides technical assistance and support in the implementation of manufacturing concepts & technologies - Selects, specifies, and installs of equipment that is statistically capabl...
