Department Intercollegiate Athletics Summary: Reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics. Assist the Head Volleyball Coach with vario us aspects of the varsity volleyball program; i.e., coaching, recruiting, scheduling, camps/clinics, and game/practice management and fundraising . The assistant volleyball coach will adhere to RMAC rules, regulations, and NCAA Division II bylaws. In addition, the assistant volleyball coach will represent MSU Denver in a positive manner and continue to uphold the program’s philosophies and the athletic department’s core values. Duties/Responsibilities: 40 % – Operations & logistics 1 5 % -- Coaching – Assi s t head coach in coaching team 1 5 % – Recruiting 1 0 % -- Fundraising and public relations 1 0 % -- Program management 5 % – Game/Practice preparation/ management 5 % – Supervision of student-athletes Specific Responsibilities: - Operations and logistics (travel coordinator, equipment coordinator, community service coordinator , secure line judges for home matches, coordinate pre-match practice times, oversee match promotions and special events , liaison with marketing and communications, and other related duties) . - Assist w...
