Work Shift: Varies (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Union Position: No Department Details: Summary: Under the clinical supervision of a licensed psychologist, who is board approved to provide supervision. The Psychology Resident evaluates patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. May conduct psychological testing as appropriate or deemed necessary. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Uses multiple treatment modalities to treat patient illness or distress; cannot prescribe medication. Job Description: Formulates case conceptualization, diagnostic impressions, and treatment recommendations of mental, emotional or behavioral issues/disorders using information obtained from observations, interviews, records, questionnaires, psychological assessments, and reference materials.
