The MA also assists with clinical and administrative services. Duties include assisting nursing staff in the management of participants at the day center by handling phlebotomy procedures, obtaining initial vital sign data for identified participants, monitoring treatment room supplies and medication expiration dates. It will be expected for the MA to be flexible and willing to assume tasks within the scope of practice, at the request of the Nursing and Primary Care departments.
