Phlebotomist Specialist-Floater

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Macon, GA Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5;00pm with 1-hour lunch break and rotating Saturdays May start as early as 7:30am depending on business needs and travel and work as late as 6:00pm depending on businessneeds and travel Floater will cover areas of Vidalia, Eastman, Macon, Fort Valley, Warner Robins and Perry, Georgia Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed . Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience.
