This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for an Assistant Acoustic Consultant for our Arlington, VA office. The following locations will also be considered: New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA Arlington, VA. In this position, staff will be involved in projects with our Property & Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Responsibilities include: - Development of initial, project-specific Acoustic design goals/concepts - Development of architectural, mechanical, and structural solutions to achieve project design goals - Calculations of HVAC system noise and Reverberation Time - Periodic review of project drawings & specifications throughout design for incorporation of acoustic design elements - Survey and evaluation of existing acoustic conditions - Three-dimensional acoustic modeling - Construction Administration / Site Observations - Report preparation to communicate design & construction recommendations to clients and end users - Attend client meetings - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and relat...
