Field Engineer, Data Center Tech, Data Center Operations

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 10 years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or controls experience in an industrial/commercial environment. - Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, power plants, or transmission operations. - Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment, and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors. - Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts. Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree. - Experience with the electrical and mechanical systems typical of a data center (e.g., Transformers, Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Chillers, Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) units). - Knowledge of high-voltage electrical substations.
