Job description

Job Purpose: To guide and support teammates through a safe and productive work site. Ensure production occurs according to schedule and contract specifications. Allocate appropriate manpower to various sites and locations based on production schedules, record and report hours to the payroll liaison. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: - Perform all duties with a focus on safety, and exhibit the qualities of a Nucor teammate - Promote and demonstrate proper Health and Safety procedures to the Foreman and Rodman - Assist with pre-job site-specific safety plans & JHAs or PSIs - Ensure the project stays on track by adhering to and implementing the specifications in the drawings and installation plans. - Ensure safety orientations are completed for new employees - Monitor sites for hazards or unsafe working conditions and correct the unsafe issues - Ensure all sites and foremen conduct daily safety meetings - Investigate, document, and report injuries, accidents, incidents, and near-miss incidents, and implement the discipline policy when necessary. - Review project inspections with the contractor and implement corrective measures. - Attend safety committee meetings. - Ensure all compa...
