Terms and Conditions apply** The Radiology Technologist Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision for an assigned Radiology area (e.g. Diagnostic, Breast Imaging, Stony Point, CT/MRI, 3D lab) to include STAR Service, legal and regulatory compliance, clinical operations, human resources, safety & quality, customer service, leadership, and fiscal responsibility. The Radiology Technologist Supervisor ensures that all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed by qualified and competent staff, are of the highest quality achievable and follow the radiation safety principles of ALARA, ACR Guidelines for imaging practices, and ACR Guidelines for MRI Safety, if applicable.Ensure compliance with VCU and VCUHS policies and procedures. The Radiology Technologist Supervisor works directly with lead technologists and front line staff to solve problems and reduce barriers to success.
