Position Summary The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides Occupational Therapy services to patients of all ages/populations/diagnoses, under the direct supervision of the treatment plan delineated by the Occupational Therapist; assists the Occupational Therapist in patient treatments and carries out departmental duties as assigned. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant shall be supervised by the Occupational Therapist according to Federal and State Guidelines. Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program approved by the American Occupational Therapy association. AR licensed or eligible for licensure. Experience: Prefer one year's experience. Other Skills: Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in written and verbal communications, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public. Licenses/Certificate: Licensed or eligible for license in Arkansas as a COTA.
