Maintenance Technician - 26000742 Description Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician that will be based in our East Chicago, IN location. The overall objective of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the production facility. The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a team of 3 and be responsible for the shared management, development, and implementation of preventive/predictive programs at the East Chicago, IN facility. This role is also responsible for corrective maintenance solutions for mechanical systems and equipment across multiple processes. This person is expected to work independently and make technical decisions and recommendations in the field. Primary Responsibilities: Plan, Coordinate, and Execute Preventive and Corrective Maintenance. Assist in Turnaround Planning and Cost Estimation of Mechanical Work. Maintain and troubleshoot Mechanical Equipment such as: Centrifugal Pumps, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors Perform precision mechanical work such as shaft alignments, bearing replacements, coupling installation, and equipment leveling.
