Physician Assistant - Infusion Suite - ( 26003061 ) Description Basic Function and Responsibility: The Department of Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Health Care is seeking 100% time Physician Assistant to perform direct patient care within the Infusion Suite of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Physician Assistant (PA) will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided and function as a Physician Assistant and change agent incorporating the primary role of Physician Assistant and the supporting roles of consultant, educator, researcher, and administrator to support quality care and positive patient outcomes for HCCC and Infusion Suite patients. This role will only assume duties and responsibilities within their scope of practice and for while they have acquired and maintained necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities and only after appropriate education and demonstrated clinical competency. This position reports to the Medical Director within the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
