The Human Resources (HR) Generalist plays a key role in overseeing the Human Resource Department’s responsibilities and activities of GuideStar Eldercare. The HR Generalist regularly uses independent judgement and discretion in the matters of employee relations, management training and development, and employment law related to oversight of federal and state leave programs and regulatory compliance. The HR Generalist will also use independent judgement, knowledge, and experience to evaluate HR processes and make recommendations for improvements, subject to oversight by the HR Manager, Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Executive Leadership Team. This position is located in Crown Point, IN and onsite work is required Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm CST. Responsibilities: - Assists with all internal and external HR-related employee relations matters, except recruiting. - Assists in developing and implementing organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
