Job description

Security is Responsible for: - Contact Police/Fire/Rescue Squad (via 911) - Contact Nursing Supervisor/Charge Nurse (via push to talk) - Calling Health Services (M-F, 8am to 4:30pm) - Ensuring Fire Rescue Squad is escorted to the scene of the emergency. (This includes driving over grass if necessary to reach accessible door to unit). - Notify unit nurse. - Security will remain on location until client has been removed to hospital or all is clear. - Complete all required documentation (incident report/log entries) after Medical Personnel has taken over. Pay Rate -$17.07/hr: Duties: - Review a logbook at the beginning of each shift for prior activities, updates and or pertinent information. - Direct and assist authorized visitors, family members, bus drivers, etc…to various locations as required. - Maintain daily logbook on all incidents, sick calls, etc, and recording on required reports and patrol log and/or telephone appropriate supervisors. Complete designated forms accurately and concisely. - Dispense/retrieve keys, mobile phones and or gas cards as needed to authorized Merakey Drivers.
